Next to the new Furman Park walking trail, near the tennis courts, is a puzzling wide-open area. The walking path crew worked hard on this area, but its purpose was hard to discern.
Until the ribbon-cutting ceremony, that is, when the city officials announced that this area will eventually hold outdoor exercise equipment. This is going to be a great addition to the walking path!
And meanwhile, the area serves as a safe training ground for future drivers.
