A day at the beach

A spring day at the beach...okay so Downey doesn't have a beach. This is actually on the north coast of France, but to me it looked like it could be in California.

It's beach weather...in February!

I'm up north today at Pacifica, in the outskirts of San Francisco. We met some friends at the beach. Clearly we weren't the only ones who had this idea. There were families everywhere flying kites and digging in the sand. Even the family dogs got into the fun. It didn't matter that it was cold and windy, the water was inviting.
