I've noticed around Downey more "for sale" signs on business properties. In a weird way, I'm kind of glad. It's time for a rejuvenation in Downey and I'm ready for some new businesses to come and light our fires. If you had a piece of land and had to use it to enhance the community, what would you build?

a waterpark would be a cool idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of mini-parks: little pockets of green in the middole of the urban sprawl, with a couple of big shade trees and maybe a bench or two.
ReplyDeleteOrlando- a water park in the middle of our town would be awesome! Probably a lot more traffic than I could handle but I bet it would a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteSo Cal Yankee - We have a lot of little parks around Downey but I would love for there to be one even closer to me. The picture that I took is right near a few coffee shops, a high school and in n out. I bet it would get a lot of use!
