"Wonderful images are hiding almost anywhere, if you just look." This is the premise of the book I'm currently reading, Extraordinary Everyday Photography.
So I was looking the other day when I passed this gate in a concrete block fence. What I noticed was the contrasting horizontal and vertical lines mixed with the circles of the knotholes, and the grain of the wood next to the porous surface of the concrete.
It's fun to find the extraordinary in your everyday surroundings.
