I always admire those people who manage the transition between fall and Christmas with such promptness. While I'm still gathering up Thanksgiving leftovers, these people are hanging their Christmas lights and putting out (or inflating) their Christmas decorations.
I saw the Christmas lights all over Downey this evening. But I liked these shots from this afternoon, with the late afternoon sun lighting the ribbons (above) from behind and giving the the snowman (left) a natural glow.
